Rev. Tom Bird: A Devoted Clergyman and Math Professor

As a dedicated priest and math professor, Rev. Tom Bird has spent his life serving others through his work in ministry and education. After attending Trinity, Sutter Creek with his wife Suzanne, where he was an associate priest, Craig retired from full-time ministry at Our Saviour, Placerville. The couple continues to live in Placerville, where they enjoy hiking, kayaking, and spending time outdoors.

Rev. Bird's journey in ministry began when he finished an interim rector assignment at Trinity, Sutter Creek. He and his wife Suzanne then started attending Faith Church in 2018. With a strong foundation in his faith, Rev. Bird has also pursued advanced degrees, earning an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and an M.A. in Ministry from Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin.

In addition to his work in ministry, Rev. Bird is a math professor at American River College, where he has taught for over 25 years. His dedication to education is evident in his ability to balance his roles as a priest and a professor. With a strong commitment to serving others, Rev. Tom Bird is a shining example of what it means to live a life of faith and service.
